JOB DESCRIPTION – SALES ASSISTANT
The A.P.C. sale assistant is the representative of the brand in the store. They participate in the development of the turnover by strictly applying the commercial policy of the brand. In the absence of the store manager, they are the guarantor of the store in terms of visual merchandising and stock management. They are involved in all the tasks that their referent, the store manager, entrusts to them with.

1/ SALES DEVELOPMENT, WELCOME AND ADVICE
Sales Development:
- Their main mission is to develop the sales of the store and the associated performance indicators (UPT, conversion rate, average basket, registered sales, loyalty sales linked to the Loyalty program and clienteling).
- They ensure that the sales targets set by the area manager and the store manager are met. Field presence and presentation:
- The A.P.C. sale assistant is present on the sales floor. They must make themselves visible to the customer and show their availability.
- The sales assistant must represent the brand image of A.P.C., whether through their uniform and their general presentation or in their attitude and their way of addressing the customers.
- The main mission of the A.P.C. sale assistant is also to welcome a demanding local or tourist clientele by following the recommendations of their manager and the brand-specific sales training methods.
- Their role is to advise clients in the best way and to support them throughout the purchasing process (proposals, fittings, composition of silhouettes, purchase, loyalty, Clienteling).
- They have to master the world of the brand perfectly and be able to explain it to customers.
- They are trained on collections and are able to present it thanks to the training books they master at each collection launch.
- The A.P.C. sale assistant is able to advise customers and is familiar with the after-sales service procedure (alterations, repairs, etc.). They ensure the follow-up between the service provider’s deposit and the delivery of the products to the customer.
- The A.P.C. sale assistant ensures good communication with their store manager. They must refer any customer disputes and must leave the last word to their manager.
- They collect their sales, controls the cashier software and ensure that all retail procedures are correctly applied in terms of sales.
- All network sales are controlled. They must inform their manager of any cash error or breach of the procedure.
- The A.P.C. sale assistant knows how to process an exchange request from the customer, as well as the issuance of a credit note.
Inventory management and store keeping:
- The A.P.C. sale assistant controls the inventory management software.
- They know how to advise the customer on the availability of an item in their shop or any other store in the network.
- The A.P.C. sale assistant is responsible for processing the receipt of goods under the control of the store manager.
- Together with the store manager, they also manage the inventories.
- They help in the maintenance of the shop if the store manager requests it.
- They are able to carry out rotating inventories to verify the consistency of the stock.
- They must ensure that the stockroom is properly maintained and take the initiative to store items regularly to facilitate the work of the entire team.
- The A.P.C. sale assistant takes care of the storage of the sales area.
- They help with merchandising and the development of new displays.
- They help in the restocking of sold items and regularly steam items on display.
- The A.P.C. sale assistant must communicate regularly with their manager on the situation of the store.
- In the event that the store manager is not present, they assist in forwarding the requested information/feedback to the area manager or the retail office.
