We are looking for an energetic, reliable person to assist with picking and packing in our busy warehouse for maternity cover of 6 months, but this may become a permanent position. Would suit someone returning to work.
We are a large lapping and polishing company that deals with both small consumables and large machines requiring shipping in both the UK and Worldwide.
Experience of working in a warehouse is required.
The following requirements are essential:
- Physically fit and able (Long periods of standing throughout the day)
- Ability to work under pressure as part of a team
- Work quickly and accurately
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues
- Ability to receive and understand verbal and written instructions
- Have good numeracy and literacy skills
- Punctual and flexible
The working hours are Monday–Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm (Non-negotiable). Based at Parkwood Trading Estate, Maidstone, Kent.
