Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Motel Cleaner to join our team at Wainfleet Motel and Restaurant. As a Motel Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our motel, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas following established standards and procedures
- Change linens, make beds, and replace towels in guest rooms
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust all areas as needed
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Replenish amenities such as toiletries and towels
- Report any maintenance or repair needs
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to guest requests in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping is a plus, but not required
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and carry items as necessary
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
