Retail Manager [Spain]


 

The mission of this position is to drive Retail Performance and Luxury execution at POS of La Prairie in Spain, by elevating the Retail skills of the Field Team to create High Impact.


How you will create a beautiful impact:


Retail Performance

  • Responsible for La Prairie retail sales of the market by ensuring excellence in client journey

  • Efficiently design business plan and action plan based on weekly / monthly dashboards (incl: ROI calculations, etc.)

  • Support Retail Field Managers and other team members in reading dashboards, such as the Retail Dashboard, CRM dashboards, BA performances, and Retail Sales evolution.

  • Analyze and drive all Retail KPIs (such as ATV, IPT, NS…) to implement the correct Retail strategy.

  • Monitor CRM client’s database and KPIs setting targets for the team to maximize client activation results.

  • Focus on enhancing the customer experience in line with brand standards, surpassing client expectations, and addressing unhappy clients.

  • Design and implement specific actions plan and event activities to drive retail growth, with priority to top-performing doors

  • Collaborates with the Commercial Director to ensure maximum profitability for each store

  • Forecast of the assets (samples, testers, CRM…) -> liaising with Marketing.

  • Stock levels in each store: in collaboration with Commercial Director, initiate corrective actions when necessary.

  • Be a guardian of the brand image at POS, flagging any misalignment with guidelines, and ensuring Luxury execution at all times, in liaison with Marketing.

  • Provide valuable insights and recommendations based on in-store activities, as well as identify and assess opportunities and risks.

  • Stays informed about competitor activities in each store and track ranking and other performance data whenever possible.


Effective Retail team support

  • Ensures La Prairie’s strategy and roadmap is cascaded and understood by the Field teams.

  • Inspire the retail team through exemplary leadership, setting the standard for excellence.
  • Implement effective processes to optimize the teams' quality time in-store and drive business.
  • Identify and propose to Commercial Director organizational changes and measures for improvement of the organization
  • Design and propose incentive programs to enhance skills and performance
  • Plan calendar of BA Multistore with the Field team, to achieve best sales results and profitability
  • Ability to train, energize, and motivate teams.

Build a High-Impact BA Team

  • Effectively drive the performance of the La Prairie BAs

  • Guide the Field team in the assessment of store and BA productivity and propose action plans for improvement.

  • Guide the Field team in proposing BA sales incentives to offer market-competitive compensation and boost sales performance.

  • BA Recruitment: Support timely recruitment and evaluation of new HIFT. Provide expertise in defining the best BA profiles, along with Field team.

  • Identify and actively participate in the career growth and development of the team

  • Identify the training needs of BAs to ensure excellent customer service, strong selling skills, and goal achievement, especially within the first three months of employment. Collaborate closely with the Education Manager to identify training needs in the area and communicate ongoing requirements.


Relationships and communication with Retailers

  • Collaborate with the Commercial Director to build strong relationships with retailers, identifying and capitalizing on collaborations and opportunities to drive sales and profitability.

  • Foster relationships with department/store managers at retail locations and provide regular updates on business strategy.

  • Actively explore opportunities to expand the brand's retail footprint in the local market. In collaboration with the Commercial Director, identify appropriate opportunities for locations, windows & Beauty Rooms


What you need to become our next audacious talent:


Experience:

  • Deep understanding of the Retail environment and dynamics

  • Ideally 10 years of experience in Retail at store level, preferably in a luxury environment, with high standards of Client knowledge

  • Business acumen, numerical agility, and forward-thinking vision

  • Strong in Business projection, Sales forecasts


Skills:

  • Agile mindset with a test&learn approach

  • Strong affinity with luxury and luxury execution

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and agility to find new approaches and solutions to the challenges of this role

  • High organizational skills & high energy, curious and open-minded

  • Effective collaborator and team player

  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills. Ability to network actively and establish strong client relationships.


Language: Spanish and English fluent.


Computer Skills:

  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills and using Microsoft Office in general.

  • Comfortable with clienteling tool.

  • Comfortable with reporting tools (QlickView, Salesforce)
