Job Title: Tutor and Facilitator
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Tutor and Facilitator to join our centre. As a Tutor and Facilitator, you will provide personalized assistance and tuition to supplement online classes at our Cambridge homeschooling centre. Your role will involve tutoring students in Mathematics (compulsory) and at least two additional subjects from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English. Additionally, you will be responsible for facilitating systems of learning, coordinating workloads, assignments, tests, administrative tasks, assisting in the setting of mock assignments and exams, writing weekly reports, and attending bimonthly meetings.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to reinforce learning and clarify concepts.
- Create a supportive and encouraging learning environment that promotes student participation and growth.
- Coordinate workloads, assignments, tests, and administration tasks.
- Set mock assignments and exams to assess student progress.
- Write reports to evaluate student performance and provide feedback to parents/guardians.
- Attend bimonthly meetings to discuss student progress, curriculum updates, and strategies for improvement.
Requirements:
- Matric certificate with a minimum of 75% in the subjects intended to tutor.
- Proficiency in Mathematics is mandatory.
- Ability to tutor at least two additional subjects from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
- Possess a Matric or A-level
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on students’ lives.
Additional Information:
- Candidates unable to provide proof of matric marks will be required to take an entrance test before the interview stage.
- Flexible working hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, and Friday, 8:30 am to 11:00 am.
- This position reports to the Program Manager/Academic Coordinator.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: R4,000.00 - R6,000.00 per month
